Feathers Hackle
What would you say this dog is a mix of?

He is 65 pounds. The tail curls up a bit and is feathered underneath. He is extremely low key and well behaved even as a puppy, but protective around strangers (raises hackles and warning bark). Coat is very soft around the chest and under the neck area. I was thinking labrador/golden or maybe labrador/german shepherd. What do you all think?
Definately part Lab and maybe Golden Retriever or Border Collie. I don't think Shepherd
