Bridesmaid Colors w/Red Carpet at Church?
Hi,
I've booked my church and reception site for my wedding on August 29th in New England. The church has a bright, regal red carpet, and they won't allow us to use any runners, etc. My dress is champagne. Before I picked the church, I had my heart set on clover for my bridesmaids, but now I'm afraid it will look too Christmasy. I was thinking maybe lavender or pale yellow, although I'm afraid yellow may wash out my bridesmaids, and look like McDonald's! Would pink and the red look like Valentines? The reception has a pretty green and regal purple paisley carpet. What do you think? Any other suggestions?

My husband's church had bright blue carpeting. The pews in the church had Bright Red cushions. I did not pay one bit of attention to it. Pictures are rarely taken with the carpet in view--usually you take pictures in front of the alter and such. Please pick the color YOU want, because you will not notice the carpet, but you will regret not having the color of your dreams.
