What does "beach chic" mean for a dress code when attending a wedding?
"Beach Chic" can also be called "Resort Attire"
Resort Attire is what you would wear to dinner at a sophisticated, higher end beachfront resort (ex. Sandals, Atlantis)
Women should wear: Summer Evening Dress/More Formal Sundresses, dressier sandals.
Men should wear: Long Khaki pants and a button down shirt(short sleeve or long) Dress shoes and no tie. Men can also get away with a very neat polo shirt.
"Beach Chic"/"Resort Attire" does not mean Hawaiian shirts, shorts, daytime sundresses, beach cover ups, flip-flops, halter tops shirts, tube tops or tank tops, capris, short skirts or anything you'd wear to a casual picnic or beach day.
"Resort Attire" is categorized as more formal.
