Son was painting Easter eggs and colored cream-colored upholstered chair. How to clean?
OK, he's only 19 months but has completely trashed two chairs spilling paint purple easter egg on the sun cream. The chairs are upholstered no cover, now have large surface stains splashed across the seat. Can you recommend any method or product with which to clean them?
Stain Removal Step 1. Get the stain as quickly as possible. Spot 2 elimination step. Mix 1 / 2 c. Tea. dishwashing liquid with 1 / 2 cups of warm water. Do not use liquid automatic dishwasher or laundry detergent. Stain removal step 3. Rub the detergent solution in the colored part of the canvas. It works gently with a clean white cloth. Stain removal step 4. Continue blotting until the stain as it will be transferred to white cloth. Stain removal step 5. Repeat with detergent solution and be patient. Stain Removal Step 6. To divide a test last efforts of ammonia (1 tablespoon mixed with 1 cup of water) in a hidden place. Ammonia is known to change color of carpet, so use with caution. Stain removal step 7. If no color change on the field test, try the egg sponge the dye stained area with ammonia solution. Stain Removal Step 8. If the stain persists, or ammonia is not an option, try a stain remover carpet stain. Stain Removal Step 9. Rinse with cold water.
