My Zebra Finches Have No Feathers Around There Neck?
We just have been given 3 zebra finches and we noticed they have no feathers around the neck. We can see there neck and like the back of there body?? Dose anyone know why this happen and what it means. O ya and we have 1 female with no Orange cheeks and 2 males with brighter colors and Orange cheeks. The to males have the great loss of feathers and the females is barley noticeable.

They were too crowded before and so their feathers were picked out by another bird. Give them seeds and other food that is high in protein and the feathers will eventually grow back. Make sure they have enough space and they won't pick on each other.
