why does the beautiful rose dies?
how do u properly care for a rose, when it is in the process of dieing, it is in a cup, with water only, a small amount, but it keeps gettign older everyday,and the leaves are hard, adn shrivily, i want it to stay alive, but i really dont know what to do HELP PLEASE!!!!!!
/Everything in life has a time frame and, unfortunately, there's nothing we can do about it. Whether it be people, animals, trees or flowers. We all live just for a certain amount of time. A rose will die faster once it's cut from it's source, of course, because it's no longer being nourished by the plant it came from. You can try putting some of that flower powder that florists give you when you buy a bouquet of flowers into the water that you put your cut rose in. Also, keep it out of the sun and in a cooler spot if you can. That will make it last longer. While you can't keep it alive, you CAN dry it. To do that, hang it someplace upside down and just leave it like that until it dries out completely. Dried roses are often very pretty.
