I was given a pair of Salt & Pepper shakers that are very old. Need to ID silver markings!?
The markings on the bottom say
Sterling
there's a picture of a crown, an f, and a shield
weighted

Any idea what these markings might mean?
Take it to a local antique dealer for an evaluation./
