What do you get your kids for Valentine's Day?
My hubby and I deeply disagree on things concerning holidays. We shelled out lots of money for Christmas. He comes from a spoiling type of family. He wants to get the kids toys for Valentine's Day. Last year he did and our 6 year old came out with her "Valentine's day list"...which is just like a Christmas list. It really bothered me. I got her a coloring book and a teddy bear, with a card, and candy. I think that is more appropriate.
What do you do for Valentine's day? Sometimes we make cupcakes together or things like that...but I just really disagree on buying toys. We have a 1 year old and I'd like to change some things before he gets spoiled rotten too. Our 6 year old doesn't play with any of the toys she gets, and trust me, she gets a lot. She doesn't appreciate things and it bothers me.
We have this fight at Easter time also. Do you buy your kids movies and games for Easter? Help.
Get him/her a gift certificate to Bath Junkie. That place allows you to make your own "customized" scent either in lotion, oil or soap fashion.
