can I fix a broken weld on the front wire of my bottom Hawley retainer?
The left weld for the front wire broke, there is a good amount of wire still sticking out of the acrylic.
Can I weld it back on with a clean soldering iron?
If I weld it back on with a soldering iron will it still be able to bend for adjustments?
Or
Can the wire be welded back on professionally since only one side is broken.
you should defiantly call your ortho. to get an appointment to fix your retainers . they'll fix it for you . if you attempt to do it yourself , it might not be the way it should be . so to be on the safe side , just call your ortho. and he/she should have no problem adjusting it for you .
