What country's flag is this?
One of my floor-mates decorated his room with various flags. One of the flags in his room remains a mystery in pertinence with its origin/country.
Pictured on it are a "white" man and a "colored" man standing with a tree and a shield between them. There's a circle of leaves/olive wreath around the two men. There's a dominant dark blue background and red horizontal stripes on the top and bottom of the flag. A Latin phrase "Isub Limba Flureoi is written on a brown ribbon.
Would anyone happen to the know origin? Thanks!
Got it! It's the flag of Belize.
The motto is "Sub umbra floreo" which means "I flourish in the shadow".
