What color theme is your room?

I'm redecorating my room, and I'm on the fence between the theme color being [teal and brown] or [yellow]. What do you think.? What's your color theme?

My room is very, very girly - pink and green walls halfway with purple, pink, green, & blue hawaiin border separating the colors.

My friend has her walls painted teal and brown, and it's very cute, don't get me wrong, but it makes her room look very, very small (and her room is also very small as it is... a master bedroom bathroom is bigger than hers) so she should have gone with a lighter color. Also she has pink carpet, so it all clashes. Other than that, it is very cute! If you have carpet or hardwood floor that would look nice with those colors, and your room is big, I would definitely choose them! For the yellow, if you choose it, I think you should go with a light, pretty bright color, not a mustard dark, too bright of a color that makes you want to run out screaming, "Ahhh, my eyes!"

The first is a cute color, but I think it would be a hard color to match things with when you are decorating. A helpful hint is to pick out your bedding that you can't part with, then pick out your color. You could fall in love with a zebra printed comforter and decide to piant your room hot pink. My point being, make sure you have something that you LOVE before you decide on the color of your paint, it will make choosing a lot easier! Then when you have your bedding, take a smaple into lowes or home depot (like a pillow case or something) and they can match your colors for you. Good luck I just love redecorating my bedroom!
